Drawing from over 20 years in renewable energy, Ilargi provides tailored consultancy in management, procurement, and project delivery, ensuring sustainable success for every project.
In 2023, I decided to found ilargi AB to offer advise and support in those areas where I have experience (leadership, management, procurement and project management)
With each project, I continue to learn and develop, and that's part of what I love about this job.
I started in wind energy in 2004 in hands-on positions as a project engineer which gave me knowledge of wind resource, civil design, and electrical design. I also had the opportunity to work as a Project Manager in Italy, Greece and Honduras, while living in those countries, I was able to learn the day to day of construction, its drivers, but most of all the associated risks.
I have held positions of responsibility as Technical Manager at Gamesa Beijing, Director of Engineering and Construction at Vattenfall, or Head of Engineering, Procurement and Construction at OX2 in Stockholm, building and leading teams of different sizes from an early stage to well established organizations performing at a high level.
During my career I have been responsible for more than 3.2 GW in 50 projects in 11 countries and 3 continents, and accountable for portfolios over 2 billion euros, which has given me an understanding of what it takes to deliver projects with a good balance between the technical, commercial, practical construction and operational components.
